National Hug Your Kid Day and Lollipop Day

July 20th is National Hug Your Kids Day!

It was founded by Michelle Nichols to remind all parents to stop and hug their kids – and everyone in their families. It’s a feel-good holiday for all families around the world. It was started to honor her son Mark, who died suddenly in 1998 from brain cancer at age 8 1/2. “Hugs are fast, free and non-fattening,” says Ms. Nichols. “A good hug can make your day – and change a life.”

It is also National Lollipop Day! So eat a Lollipop with your kids today!
