Key Lime Pie

We were invited to a fabulous BBQ this weekend and I wanted to bring something.  I have been craving Key Lime for some time now so that’s what I brought.  I was so nervous because I have never made one before and I didn’t do a test run. The fear of bringing something that your not sure if it is good or not, is not fun. LOL!
Anyways it was Yummy! And Super Easy…So I thought I would share…

What You Need
1 1/2 cups of graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup of sugar
4 tablespoons of melted butter (1/2 stick)
2 (14-ounce) cans condensed milk
1 cup key lime or regualr limes
2 large whole eggs
Preheat Oven to 375 degrees F.
Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar and butter with your hands. Press mixture into a 9 inch round pie dish and bake for 20 minutes.  Works really well if you smooth with a spoon. Remove and Cool.
In a separate bowl, combine condensed milk, lime juice and eggs.  Whisk well.  Fill pie shell.  Bake in oven for 13 minutes.  Chill for 2 hours.
Take out and top with whipped cream.
